    Jobo Kunda
    was established in 1995 by

    Saikou Jobarteh and Bakary Kanyi
    in the Gambia
    and

    Christine Covert and Gray Parrot
    in America

    who together proudly announce
    their seventh year
    of international cultural programs.

Our goal is to bring people of North America and West Africa together
for the purpose of sharing and preserving traditional cultures.
Our music and dance instructors are from the jalis or griot society,
the historic keepers of the culture.

    Are you ready for Africa?
