Since 1994, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the arts and education
and to the preservation and performance of the many works of
Arthur Hall
Dancer - Choreographer - Master Teacher - Citizen of the World
Founder and artistic director of the Arthur Hall Afro American Dance Ensemble,
the Ile Ife Black Humanitarian Center and the Ile Ife Museum of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,
and Ile Ife Films and the Arthur Hall Collection of Maine
Born 18 April 1934 in Memphis, Tennessee | Died 6 July 2000 in Camden, Maine
In Memoriam
Since 2008, under the artistic direction of Nana Korantema Ayeboafo
the Arthur Hall Collection has joined forces with
The Arthur Hall Afro American Dance Ensemble Alumni
in an effort to preserve Arthur Hall's legacy, his works and his vision.
Together we have developed a five-part plan we call

The Arts belong to all people,
and all people surrender to the Arts at some point.
I am happy now after forty years of being a Symbol
of Black Culture to expand my Vision to encompass
all the World's Cultures by founding
the International Dance Center ...
The Support of the Community Uplifts my Spirit.
The Center will be a place for the Creative Process,
a place for International Music & Dance to Come Together,
perhaps to Create what does not yet exist.
