What Arthur Hall does may be called dance,
but it is also a kind of culture making rarely seen
and sorely needed.

Four members of the Alumni are now active members of the
board of directors of Ile Ife Films, Inc.,
which includes the Arthur Hall Collection. Through our collaboration,
we have developed a plan to do the following:
Archive and Preserve all films and videotapes in the Collection
in a climate-controlled facility.
Produce
DVD editions of existing films and videos
for use by schools, libraries, and private collectors.
Develop educational programs and related activities
of Ile Ife Films, the Arthur Hall Collection,
and The Arthur Hall Afro American Dance Ensemble Alumni.
Work to establish the "International Dance Center" that Arthur envisioned
as an International Drum and Dance Conference with workshops to be held in Maine,
conducted by the alumni, to teach Arthur's choreography and the songs and rhythms
that go with it.
Disseminate Arthur's educational curriculum for schools using films and
the techniques Arthur developed for student development
through movement and drumming.
